In 2017 the Camdenton FIRST LASER 3284 FRC team was named the Central MO Affiliate for the Central MO region FIRST affiliate (61 counties) due to growth of FLL and FLL Jr. in the Central MO area. The affiliate is located in Camdenton, MO and is sponsored by the Camdenton R-III School District.

The Central MO affiliate hosts three official FIRST LEGO League Qualifiers, the Central MO FLL Championship and the Central MO FLL Jr Expo in partnership with the following schools:
Columbia Public Schools- Jefferson Middle School
Nixa Public Schools - Nixa Jr. High
Camdenton R-III Schools - Camdenton High School
Camdenton R-III Schools - Osage Beach Elementary

FIRST camps take place in June and July at various locations.  Information is sent to coaches via email.
